At Professionals for Integrity in Community governance and Knowledge (PICK), we believe that every charity and not-for-profit (NFP) deserves the tools and support to thrive. Founded by a team of passionate and highly qualified professionals from diverse fields, PICK is more than an organization—it's a movement dedicated to empowering community-focused groups to achieve excellence in governance, finance, administration, and employment practices.
Inspired by the principles of Article 7 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), PICK champions the fundamental human right to just and favorable working conditions. This includes fair wages, equal pay, safe and healthy workplaces, and opportunities for professional growth for everyone. Yet, we recognize the immense challenges that charities and NFPs face in fulfilling these obligations, often due to funding constraints or the growing complexities of compliance and governance.
That’s where PICK steps in. Our mission is to bridge the gap, strengthening the capacity and sustainability of charities and NFPs through pro-bono and at-cost services. We provide targeted training and support to empower boards and teams to overcome operational barriers, fulfill their human rights obligations, and serve their communities with integrity and accountability.
